Description
Baluch (or Baluchistan) is a region that includes the Baluchistan province in Pakistan as well as parts of Iran and Afghanistan. These very durable carpets are called Baluchi / Beluchi / Balochi since they are made in this border region; they are usually made of 100% wool and in small sizes, and feature dark red and brown colours and repetitive forms, usually the "gkiua" pattern.
